First iPad Commercial

Apple released their first iPad commercial during the first break of the 82nd Annual Academy Awards. The commercial showed a person going through the different features that will be available on April 3rd. Each application went by in the blink of an eye but from what we were able to see it looks amazing.

Apple has finally come through with a cheap alternative to the popular Macbook with a price point starting at $499. You can be sure that when Apple releases the 2nd gen model that we will be listing cheap iPads in the near future.

Steve Jobs back on Stage

Steve Jobs returned to the stage at Apple's It's only Rock'n'Roll event on Wednesday receiving a standing ovation by those in the audience. The event may not have brought the Apple Tablet, iTablet or whatever name that Apple puts on it's rumored touch device. We didn't get the camera in the iPod Touch but surprisingly they added a video camera to the iPod nano.

What we did get was the return of Steve Jobs and to me that was satisfying enough.

There is a lot of buzz in the industry about Apple releasing a netbook in the near future but it is quite possible that a Mac tablet is in the works. Houston Neal has written a great article at Softwareadvice about the medical applications that could be developed for said "iTablet".
